Homeless Students
If a student is not living in permanent housing; such as a shelter, hotel, motel, car, bus, train, park, campsite, or doubled-up with another family, proof of residency and other documents normally needed for enrollment are not required and the student is to be immediatly enrolled. After the student has been enrolled, the district will have the homeless liason work with the previous school and the parents to get the necessary documents. If your family finds themselves in this type of situation during the school year the homeless liason will assist the family to secure permanent housing.
